For most files we organize a structure within Dropbox or Box because many clients are already familiar with using these platforms. If you would prefer other options, please contact us with your preference. Clients may upload all assets including .zip files to the allocated space. We prefer all images to be in native (original) format – ai, eps, svg, pdf for vector based files and tiff, RAW, psd or eps for bitmap images. It is much easier for us to make changes and optimize images for the web ourselves unless clients are trained in this field. It is harder to backtrack and fix images that are too far gone than it is to get the images we need at the quality and size we need them from the original files.
For copy, please send text files in MS Word format (doc, docx) PDFs or text (txt) files.
These guidelines have been created through prior experience, and we have found that taking a few extra steps at the beginning saves a lot of time in the long run.
